About Me
My name is Sara Stoupa, and I am the Lead Researcher and Creator of ASPEN.
Why did I create ASPEN?
As a survivor of EoE, I experienced the harmful diagnostic process first-hand. Knowing the impact this had on myself and my family, the risk this illness posed to my life, and the years of hospitalizations that occurred due to a postposed diagnosis, I decided to find a better way.

I am currently a Senior Mechanical Engineering student at Clemson Unversity.
ASPEN has been in development for six years, and this patent pending design will continue its development until my mission of helping the thousands of patients afflicted by EOE is achieved.
